He explained about the speaking subject (referent)= writer or speaker, and the subject of speech (referee) = “I” in discourse – the word spelled “I.”
For example if I receive a call from an unknown number, I will not know who is the person who is calling if I do not answer the phone, it could be a friend who changed the number or someone who called the wrong number.
