Section One: Diverse Argentina
1.Argentina has a huge territory on the Atlantic Ocean and many natural resources. Its population, however, is just a third of that of Japan. Most people live in Buenos Aires.

2.Almost all Argentines speak Spainish but there are minorities that also speak other languages.
Early in the 20th century, Argentina became the world's seventh richest country. That was when millions of people moved there, attracted by its many opportunities.
3.Most Argentinian families come from Europe, mainly from Italy or Spain. But there are also Germans, Japanese, among others, and immigrants from neighbouring countries. Mixed races make up more than 90% of the total population.
