Creating different learning station
15 minute rotations
group and individualized assignments throughout the stations
will provide articles, scholastic news, puzzles, and search and finds
engaging learning activities
Student Interviews
interviewing each student in the classroom to learn student interests
see what their favorite types of learning styles are
keep of track of all of the results to create more fun and engaging lessons for the students
Student time provided to write in journals
give children opportunities to write out how they are feeling
help get feedback from the lessons and activities I have came up with
write down any questions they do not feel comfortable asking in front of the class to make sure everybody is understanding the concept
get opinions from the students on what they believe would help them learn better
Set Goals
determine goals for themselves to set throughout the school year at different marking periods
reflect on scores and figure out ways how to improve in testing
create certain lessons that pertains to goal setting ideas
Providing free time to study
give students time to pair up with a classmate and use technology and online research to study
gives time to students to work and learn things individually while getting a different point of view from a classmate
different stations set up in the classroom for this period
will be completed in a quiet area where no students are allowed to distract others
very beneficial for the diverse learners that have a few complications with processing the work
Pair up students that have similar learning styles
students will collaborate on certain projects and assignments to create very well put together work
not pairing up students that are on the same level of learning but the ones that connect with the same style
students that tend to think a like are very supportive of their classmates way of learning
Reading Comprehension
providing other ways to give assignments other than just the basic writing answers out
artistic assignments so that students can express their way of thinking in different ways
letting the students act out stories being read throughout the school year
Relations with Math
provide real life examples when learning to count numbers
adding and subtracting using money methods that they will be using in the real world
provide fun and engaging math games in group centers for the students to complete
Share personal experiences
some students feel more comfortable knowing that if their teacher has normal struggles then its okay for them to as well
