- When grips are setup place foot on opp hip (trapped arm side) this will impede him from slipping his trapped arm out.
- With other leg shove him to his side to make it easier to setup armbar
- Once in position place framing leg around opp neck
- Square up and go for armbar.

- anchor down by gripping pants
- Smash with shoulder and pull pant grip up
- pick legs up and change his angle
- if it turns into lasso go for cross face
