In 1935 Britain made and agreement with Germany, that allowed them to build up a navy as long as it stayed under 35 % of the size of British navy.
Britain did this alone, and didn´t consult the League.
Germany
They had to decide if everyone else should disarm, or if Germany should rearm like the others.

Disarmament Conference

Agreed Resolutions:
- Prohibit bombing of civilian populations.
- Limit the size of artillery.
- Limit the tonnage of tanks.
- Prohibit chemical warfare.

The League:

At the end, no one was disarmed because of the fear of being the first one to do it.
The League had a bad reputation, which didn´t helped.
