Martin Luther King Jr.

Cesar Chavez
Worked as a community and labor organizer
founded the National Farm Workers Association (1962)

Chavez called for boycott of California grape growers (for improved compensation and labor conditions)
continued to lead marches, call for boycotts, and go on hunger strikes
