Problem 1: Messy Dining Area
Tell employees to clean the dining area if it is messy
Ensure that there is at least 1 employee that keeps an eye out for messiness and clean the area when needed
Implement a new rule: every time a customer leaves, they must clean the area
Problem 2: Student Employee Arguing with Customer
Make it clear to not argue with customers; they are always 'right'
Resolve the problem himself to avoid the situation getting too messy
Apologize and give the customer a discount or free meal
Ensure the client that this will never happen again
Have a supervisor to ensure that none of these problems occur
Problem 3: Call-in Phone Ringing
Answer the phone himself
Speak to the employees and remind them that they must answer the phone
Warn the staff that are on their phones about this situation and make sure it never happens again
Create a rotation system for employees to answer the calls
Problem 4: 2 Student Employees Are Using Their Phones
Be strict and clear about phone usage during working hours
Ban the use of personal cellphones
Lecture about responsibility
Give them a warning
Give them more tasks to do, including taking orders of the customers waiting or pick up the ringing phone
