Must be above 16 years old and employed in trade and industry of the union
Member belows 18 years old is not giving voting right on matters of imposition of ivy, dissolution of the trade union and strikes
Member 21 years old are not eligible to be elected as officers of the union
A student of an educational institution cannot be members unless he is a bona fide workman and above 18
Workers in public sector only can join union form by in same occupation, department or ministry.
Legal immigrant cannot join trade union
Registration of Trade Union
To register must follow the the condition:
apply to director-general of trade union within one month of the date established.
Request for an extension 6 month can be made too
The application of registration must fullfli:
signed by at least 7 members of the union.
made in prescribed form
accompanied by prescribed free
Printed copy of the rules of the union signed by members making the application.
The application must included
The name of union and address.
Name, address and occupations of members
name, ages, occupation of the unions officers
The General-Director will refuse the application if
Unions objective are unlawful
Used for unlawful purposes
name of union undisireble or identical

Worker member mus pay an entrance fee and monthly between Rm 3 to Rm 8
