Motion
Acceleration
-
Zero Acceleration
If the acceleration is zero, it means that the velocity is not changing and an object is moving at a constant velocity or is permenantly at rest
Non-Uniform Acceleration
When the velocity of an object changes by unequal amounts in equal intervals of time it is said to experience non-uniform acceleration
Uniform Acceleration
When an object travels in a straight line and it's velocity changes by equal amount in equal intervals of time, it is said to experience uniform acceleration
-
Velocity
-
Uniform Velocity
If an object covers equal distances in equal intervals of time in a particular direction, however small these intervals might be ,it's velocity is said to be uniform
Variable Velocity
If an object covers unequal distances in equal intervals of time in a particular direction , however small these intervals might be or if it covers equal distanceso in equal intervals of time but it's direction keeps on changing , its velocity is said to be variable
-
Speed
-
Uniform Speed
If an not object move covers equal distanceso in an equal intervals of time it is said to experience in uniform acceleration
Non-uniform Speed
If an object covers unequal distances in equal intervals of time it is said to experience non-uniform speed
-
Uniform Motion
When an object covers equal distancese in equal intervals of time it is said to experience uniform motion
Non-Uniform Motion
When an object covers unequal distances in equal intervals of time, it is said to experience non-uniform motion
