What is?
It is an assignment that examines and evaluates a work of literature or a given aspect of a specific literary piece.
It tells about the big idea or theme of a book you've read. The literary essay may be about any book or any literary topic imaginable.
What must be included?
It needs to have the topic, a thesis statement, an outline, body, and conclusion.
Master the art of the analytical thesis. A good thesis is a statement of roughly one to three sentences that says something intelligent about a literary work
A thesis must be complex enough that it would not be immediately obvious to a casual reader, but it must be simple enough that it can be stated in a relatively short amount of space.

You may also want to suggest further areas of study, improvement of research possibilities, etc. to demonstrate your critical thinking regarding your research.
