Work with Administration
This might be the hardest step!
Encourage administration to build authentic relationships with students with disabilities
Recognize students with disabilities in special ways (Special Olympics metals; assembly led by students with disabilities, etc.)
Be the Change!
Start small. Know that every positive action is a step towards reduced bullying.
Your students see you. Your coworkers see you. Your administration sees you. Support differences.

Be an Ambassador
Reach all students in the school, not just yours, by providing lessons and materials about diversity
Have discussions about disabilities. Be open and honest.
Be visible and approachable. Answer questions and teach.
