DEFINITION:
Is the management process of influencing people’s behavior to behave in a way that ensures the accomplishment of some goal.

Extrinsic reward
is the payoff such as money, a person receives from others for performing a particular task.
Intrinsic reward
is the satisfaction such as a feeling of accomplishment a person receives from performing a particular task.

REINFORCEMENT APPROACHES
Reinforcement: is anything that causes a given behavior to be repeated or inhibited.
When consequences are given immediately following a behavior, it will increase the likelihood of the behavior being repeated.
