• Istanbul is the only city that is both in Asia and Europe meaning the city is culturally diverse, allowing to have more influence on the world. Istanbul is at a location where both sea and land trades are available leaving it to be one of the main trading centres of turkey; the city generates 55% of Turkey's trade and 45% of the country's wholesale trade.
