Human Influences on Environment
Food Supply
Machinery
The work is done by machines instead of humans. It is very efficient for the large areas of lands. While it allows few people to farm in huge land, it can lead to pollution
Insecticides
By simply spraying it over the farmland, it can get rid of insects. By doing so, number of damaged crops would decrease by removing eggs, larvae, and insects. On the other hand, it could contaminate the water and cause death of certain species.
Chemical fertilisers
It provide necessary nutrients for growth of crops. While it aids in growth of crops, it can damage the soil at the same time and changes the ph of the soil.
Selective Breeding
Mass production of food is possible by these certain crop plants and livestocks. Humans selectively breed two species for better yields.

Habitat Destruction
Bioaccumulation
Accumulation of chemicals inside the bodies of organisms can cause death. This often occurs in the aquatic ecosystem. With fewer organisms left in the habitat, it could cause destruction of the habitat.
Deforestation
To make a room for agricultural land, deforestation is usually done. All the trees would be cut down completely. It could result soil erosion, desertification, flooding and have significant impact on increasing greenhouse gases.
Acid rain
Acid rain is quite harmful to sea organisms. It's caused by burning coal. Acid rain would damage gills of fish by changing the acidic level of ocean because not all fish can tolerate the same amount of acid.
Pollution
Water
Sewage and chemical waste pollutes rivers, lakes, and oceans
Excessive growth of algae can block the access to sunlight which can damage many sea organisms.
Harmful bacteria released from the sewage also cause serious diseases such as cholera and damage vital organs.
Air
Air pollution is usually caused when SO2,CO2,CH4 is released into air.
SO2 forms acid rain by dissolving in rain water. When it's exposed to plants, it reduces its growth and damage the leaves
AIr pollution is one of the major causes of global warming. Excessive amount of greenhouse gases that is trapped cause melting of glaciers which then cause extinction of wild animals.
Conservation
Organisms
Laws are passed to conserve them.
Education on the endangered species are done. Monitoring is also done on these species to prevent extinction and illegal transaction
Water
Reduce the usage of water through reusing and saving
Sewage treatment
Resources
Prevent purchasing disposable products
Reuse plastic bottles and plastic bags
