Informed Consent
- Inform all participant purpose and objective of research of investigation

Research with Children
- consent are given by parents
- consent form are signed by parents
- the child has the final say despite having guardian's consent
- if child choose to withdraw, their wish must be respected
Protection from harm
- protect them from psychological and physical harm.
- Avoid harming participants unless they have given their permission to do that to them,

Deception
- Avoid intentional deception of the participant.
- misleading participants after they show discomfort once debriefed is unacceptable.
Confidentiality
- by default, participant's information is confidential unless agreed in advance
- participant have a right to expect that information they provide will be treated confidentially and if published, will not be identifiable as theirs.
- warned participants in advance if confidentiality cannot be guaranteed prior them agreeing to participate.
- best way to maintain: limit the number of people who see/collect the data.
Debriefing
- Providing participant with necessary information to provide them with understanding of the nature of the research (explaining about the research after completed your experiment)
- Allow participant to ask question regarding the experiment
Coercion
- Participation in a study should not be forced.
