In order to assist students in monitoring the group dynamics in their team, they asked them to evaluate the effectiveness of their team functioning, by completing a short questionnaire on possible problems (following the procedure suggested by Oakley, Felder, Brent, & Elhajj, 2004).
The main purpose of this last strategy was to raise students’ awareness of potential problems and provide a platform for discussion of such problems if the need should arise.
