Revenable
\
Passive Solar Housing
Positioning of the Housing so that the Summer Suns Radiation stays out and the Winter's Sun Stays in. Keeping the Houses temperature cool in Summer and warm in Winter. In certain areas, such as living rooms. (Have the house positioned East-west, have the living facing towards North on the block. Place the untiles room on the South)
Shading using plants to cool the summer Heat. As well as Deciduoing in Winter to allow heat to transfer.
Thermal Mass to release heat in Winter; in Summer to 'breeze' out heat
Reducing the amount of wall area, theirs a reduce in the need to heat up more area. Making it easier to heat and cool.
Un-Revenable
Not using passive solar housing.
Positioning the House North-South. Having the Untiles rooms North and living rooms South. This means that rooms such as utilities (room) that often don't get used are hotter, making them unuseful for climate confront and rooms such as living rooms get colder creating more uncomfortable environment for the house owners.
Not using shading to Reduce Summer heat and allowing Winter cooling to enter making an uncomfortable environment.
Not using thermal heating. Meaning more electrical heating is need to heat rooms in Winter. As well as reducing cooling in Summer.
Have multiples rooms. More rooms mean more need to heat them up.
