End of the unit exam or Midterm: is a type of assessment that occurs at the end of a whole unit or semester.

Projects: are performance based assessments for example research papers and this way the students can apply their new knowledge in an artistic form.
Exit Ticket: Can be a quick summary or answering a question that relates to the lesson just recently taught.
Journal Entry: Students record what they learned in a journal and the teacher will review it to see if the student master the concept.

Concept maps: Students create a map to see what ideas they can connect to the same concept. They can later revisit these concept maps to add new ideas by using different colors to see if they are expanding their understanding.
