Definition A tool used by teachers to give feedback to students or guide their instruction.
Exit Slip: The teacher hands out a sticky note with a given question. Students will respond to the question or thoughts on the sticky note
Four Corners: Teacher sets four different corners in the classroom. Students move to the corner they believe is the answer
Performance
Definition: Type of assessment which requires students to perform a given task versus questioning or testing.

Definition: An assessment that teachers use to evaluate where student are in their learning and helps determine if the students are on track for future exams.
STAAR: Texas standardized test given at the end of the school year to assess students knowledge or achievements based on their grade level.
Edulastic: teachers can use this website to helps mirror a state test in which students can take different type of test that contains student data.

Definition: Measures student comprehension at the end of a lesson/unit
