This bullying takes place using electronic technology such as cell phones, computers, tablets and communication tools such as social media sites, text messages, chat and websites.
In 2013 15% of high school students (grades 9-12) were electronically bullied. Cyberbullying is growing. Because the use of technology is rapidly changing, it is difficult to design surveys that accurately capture trends.
Make sure to report cyberbullying to online services providers. They have certain actions and steps taht will stop the cyberbullying.
Reporting Cyberbullying to Schools: Many schools are required to address cyberbullying in their anti-bullying policies.
