WHAT HAPPENS WITH BODY?
The body does not produce enough or any INSULIN (a hormone produced in the pancreas) to control the amount of glucose in the blood.
If there is not enough insulin, there can be lots of glucose travelling around in the blood. This means the cells in the body do not have enough energy to work well, which makes people feel tired and unwell.
