The young one would be tied to the older, and would learn from him
Jesus knew about yokes
Made them to fit perfectly
Make the load light
Like an apprenticeship
Choose to be bonded , to be yoked to a master
To learn from
To emulate
To live like
Not passive - to engage with, to partner (apps taking on responsibility)
Are you weary and burdened?
Would you like rest?
What's weighing you down?
Is it religion?
Anxiety?
Easing of lockdown might increase anxiety
Decisions
Money
Jesus says - partner with me
Not passively - actively
Taking a yoke doesn't mean stopping. 'Rest' doesn't mean backing off
But know that you're working with a master craftsman
Been there - has the scars (literally) to prove it
Life is too hard to do it on your own
It's great to have a partner to share the burden
But even the most loving and attentive partner
can't give rest to your soul
Jesus can
