Definition: Diagnostic Assessments are used to look at the strengths and weaknesses of a student; allows a teacher to determine the point for instruction
K-W-L Charts- Students have a chance to show what they know already versus what they want to know, then after an activity they get to say what they learned
Surveys- Students can answer surveys to help the teacher improve in the ways he/she serves the students
