QUESTION 2
What animals, birds and insects would have you have seen if you had been in Churton Park 200 years ago?
Which ones would you have found in or near a Tōtara tree
Big fat Wētās and birds flying all over the place. Most commonly sighted birds would be White Herons, Fantails, Pūkekos, Bell Birds, Wood pigeons, Silver eyes and the Westland Petrel Duck.
Wētās I think would be living in them and kiwis might burrow under them. Also I think the most birds would sit and make nests on them because there high and big.
