Scientific revolution

Scientific revolution takes place when scientists become dissatisfied with the prevailing paradigm and put foward a completely new way of looking at things

If a new paradigm provides a better explanation of things then a scientific revolution is likely to occur
Science and truth
If a scientific theory explains the truth at that present moment and is internally consistent we should consider it as the truth
If it gets disregarded in the future and replaced by another theory then that means we are one step closer to the truth
