The Trichomonasis is transmitted through vaginal, oral, or anal sex with an infected individual . It can also be passed from a mother to her baby at birth.

Treatment: trichomoniasis can be treated by antibiotics (metronidazole or tinidazole). It is a single dose and it may be received orally.
Effects
In women:
Itching, burning, redness or soreness of the genitals;

A change in their vaginal discharge (i.e., thin discharge or increased volume) that can be clear, white, yellowish, or greenish with an unusual fishy smell.
In men: Itching or irritation inside the penis;
Burning after urination or ejaculation;
Discharge from the penis.
