You can use Ag/AgCl RE in dilute alkaline (up to 1-2 M) and for short period experiments (a few hours) but beyond that the electrode is not stable

Supercapacitors
Advantages:
EC capacitors have a higher power density that batteries (~10,000 W/kg)
Long life charge-discharge cycles >100,00
Short charging time (10s of seconds)
Disadvantages
energy density is not great, for carbon based (~10 W
h/kg) and for asymetric (~30 W
h/kg)
Based on ir charge storage mechanism, there are 2 categories:
pseudocapacitance: charge-transfer Faradaic reaction
EDLC: electrical double-layer capacitance (EDLC) which is a non-Faradaic pro-cess
