returning to a standing position, they make a recitation which praises God
they kneel with their forehead on the ground. this is called prostration and shows complete obedience to god. they recite 'How perfect is my lord the most high'
while bowing muslims say in arabic 'Glory be to the lord who is the greatest' three times. the bowing position shows they believe God is great
muslims then sit while reciting 'god is the greatest, and after pausing for a few seconds prostrate themselves once more repeating 'God is the greatest'
while standing, muslims recite the first chapter from the Qur'an
Finally in a kneeling position muslims turn to the people next to them and recite 'Peace be upon you, and the mercy and blessings of God'
