There's a Korean movie called "돈 크라이 마미," in English "Don't cry, Mommy." The story is about a mom who lost her daughter. Her daughter, Eun-A, has been raped by senior, so she commits suicide on her Birthday. So, mom tries to find a guy who raped her daughter. This story is quite similar to "The Lovely Bones." In the novel, Jack, Susie's father, tries to find the evidence from Harvey, and in the film, Yoo rim tries to prove that the senior raped her daughter. Although their daughter's death suffers them both, they try their best to find the evidence. They feel sorrow, anger, and longing. The changes they both have experienced in common is feeling towards their daughter and life. They would blame the world and ask God why it had to be my daughter. As I predict, they will blame themselves that they couldn't protect their daughter in the rest of their life.
