It builds on existing mobile technological tools and reinforces the idea thet learning does not have to take place only in "brick-and-mortal location" establishments (Staker & Horn, 2012).
Peer teaching
This is an opportunity for learners to take onthe role of expert, or more able peer (Goldschmid & Goldshchmid, 1976)
"Students are exposed to new content outside of the class through short videos, and then use the class time to further develop this knowledge through problem-solving discussion, practice and interaction with peers and teacher" (Brame, 2013)

In flipped classroom model, students are expected to follow a model, research a topic and craft a video tutorial on an aspect of academic writing

Research showed that most students prefer teacher explanation than a peer explanation and concern "trustworthiness" in peer produced video tutorials
