Can you control time?(pendulums)
Part 1
For the love of physics
Last lecture by Walter Lewin
1 It does not matter what angle the pendulum is, a complete period will always go for the same amount of time.
2 It does not matter what weight the ball is, a complete period will always go for the same amount of time.
3 Any pendulum will never go to the same or higher height unless another force has acted on it.
4 A complete period is one oscillation of the pendulum.
5 The ball of a pendulum is called a bob.
6 Any ball will never go to the same or higher height unless another force has acted on it.
7 The speed of the bob is much higher when it is at 0 degrees to the ground.
8 Building Demolishers use a massive pendulum that relies on the speed of that bob at 0 degrees.
We filled out a page with information of the timing of pendulums
Part 2
gravity = 9.8 ms
We made a video about the timing of pendulums
