Water test: The witch was tossed into a body of water. If she floated, she was rejected by the water (it was a holy object back then) and was accused as a witch. If she sunk, she was innocent; this drowned more than half the poeple who took this test.
The witch examination; The witch would be examined and the witchfinder's job was to find a devil's mark (a mole or mump on the body). If there was a mark like this one, the woman would be accused as a witch and hanged.

The Slave Trade
The slave trade invented the slave triangle. The slave triangle is a triangle stopping at three points. The first pont is England. Here the ships set off with goods such as sugar, tobacco and other items. The second point is Africa. The goods are traded in for slaves and these slaves are exchanged for different goods in the Americas. The final point is America. The slaves are auctioned off and families are split. Most slaves work on farms or machines. (This was the industrial revolution)
