Future Activities in Progress
Definition:
It is an activity in progress at a specific time in the future.
2 Examples:
At this time tomorrow, I'll be leaving for Hawaii.
I'll be staying in Hawaii for three weeks.
Promises and Requests vs. Plans and Expectations
Definition:
Will in the future continuos can express continuous can express different things. It can transmit a promise even thought most times it is used to be like a plan or expectation. Sometimes it can be used as a request, and this request is presented on a more indirect and polite way.
2 Examples:
Like a promise: I'll finish this tomorrow.
Like a plan or expectation: I'll be finishing this tomorrow.
Will you stop at the post office tomorrow?
Expressing Plans or Intentions
Definition:
In this one the word to recognize is
be going to
and as future it's referred as a future intention or a a planned event. On the present continuous it is the same but the difference is that the plan may not be exact.

Future: He is not going to take any classes this summer.
Present continuous: He's not taking any classes this summer.
Expressing Scheduled Events
Definition
:
This is for scheduled events that can't be changed.
2 Examples:
The conference starts on Tuesday evening and ends on Saturday afternoon.
The flight leaves Chicago at 12:00 p.m tomorrow.
Making Predictions
Definition:
It is used to make predictions.
2 Examples:
It's going to rain later.
They're going to win tonight. Everyone thinks so.
