Objectives
-
-
To help government to break the chain of COVID-19 transmission which would eventually would contain the outbreak
Workers can also be aware on the risk of infection around their residential area/working area, such as red, yellow and green
Opinion
It is an effective tool to combat communication crisis amidst the outbreak as it relays information to the people accurately.
It is easier for the community to obtain the information online and should they fall into the risk category, they will be provided with guidance for further care. Thus, no close contact is carried out to prevent further transmission.
People would be able to carry out COVID-19 test by interacting with medical practitioners through online. Thus, it is easier for them to rule out the possibility of acquiring the disease. This is an important tool to prevent the community from hoarding the medical facilities to be tested which would in turn increase the risk of transmission.
It will not be useful to people who do not have:
- Smartphones running Android 4.0 and above or iOS 10 and above.
- Internet connection
Therefore, more options should be created for peopl of this category.
