What is it?
Wide Area Network's are networks that are spread over a wide area. WAN networks aren't limited to a specific location so therefore meaning the network can be accessed in multiple locations

What is it?
It is a computer network that has one central powerful computer (which is the server), that allows more, less powerful computers/ workstations to connect to it (clients).
What is it used for?
usually it is used for file sharing within organisations, but can be used to access songs, videos, or other things from the main server.

What is it?
this is a network that connects two or more computers together without the need for a file server to be part of the network.
What is it used for?
The main use of a Peer-to-Peer network is to share resources and help computers to work collaboratively.
