Ameloblastoma
etiology: odontogenic epithelial origin
method of transmission: n/a
characteristics: swelling usually in posterior MD; root resorption; tooth mobility; soap bubble radiographic appearance and well-defined scalloped margins
dental implications: can break through cranial cavity when expanding and become life-threatening
tx/prognosis: excision; good prognosis

etiology: malignant tumor of cartilage; genetic predisposition

characteristics: common in MX; painless swelling of bone; headache, nasal problems, vision problems, tooth mobility
