My opinion
As a person who is always for implementing technological novelties in our world I can't wait to use that system
I think if that system would be completely safe, it would be especially helpful for people with all kind of disabilities
safety is number one priority
so to me it is clear that this solution won't gain people's trust for at least next few years
Now
Training driverless cars by a system invented at MIT
The biggest collaborator is Toyota Research Institute
Nowadays it is practically impossible to incorporate everything into the simulator
My questions
The questions arises: when do we expect it to take over roads?
Will this system be safer than real human be the steering wheel?
Who would be responsible for traffic offenses?
Would we even need a driving license to drive a car learnt by this system?
Future prospects
Researchers hope to simulate all types of road confitions from a single trajectory
They also hope to simulate more compex interactions with other vehicles on the road
