Juvenile Program Proposal
Current Issues this program attempts to addresss:
Lack on 1 on 1 time with PO
No individualized learning
Lack of alternative activities
Public school are overcrowded and education is below average
How this program fixes these issues:
Gives juvenile 1 on 1 time with a responsible adult/mentor
Each student partners with a mentor that can coach them through specific career fields
Juvenile gets a chance to partake in an activity that can potentially result in a career
Historical Issues:
Juvenile Detentions can be dangerous and have negative influence
Leaving youths with family and peers can have negative impact.
Juveniles are left to the streets, and don't have a parental figure coaching them through practical life skills

How historical issues are met:
1 on 1 time with a responsible adult will give the juvenile a new perspective outside of their peers at a detention facility or their school
Taking the youth out of his environment for a couple hours each day will help the youth evaluate what goes on at home
The mentor can not only help them with a career path, but can work through practical life skills such as writing resumes, tying a tie, learning to drive, etc..
