fetal development: Fertilisation happens on day 1, on day 2 the cells divide, day 6 a hollow ball of cells form, on day 7 the embryo implants in the wall of the uterus, on day 28 they placenta begins ot take nutrients and oxygen from the mothers blood.
first 2 weeks after conception is the germinal stage, third to eight week is the embryonic period and finally, the ninth week until birth is the fetal period
Boys and girls both grow hair under arms and their pubic region, growth spurt and hair grows on their legs. Boys' penis develops, their voice deepens, facial hair and sperm are produced. Girls have their breasts develop, periods start, hips widen and their uterus develops

Girls have periods during puberty, they lose some blood through their vagina for 2-4 days a month. This bleeding is from a series of events which is called the menstrual cycle. Every month, hormones make an egg mature in one of her ovaries. Periods stop while a women is pregnant and end completely at the menopause which is about 50 years old
