This can also be applied to how cooks handle the food they are cooking.
If they are washing their hands with warm soapy water, cleaning the kitchen, making all pathways clear etc.
It is the practice of making sure the workplace is safe and clean to ensure worker's health.
Ways To Stay Safe
Clear all pathways in the kitchen or workplace.
Keep all doors unlocked in case of emergency.
There are many ways to stay safe some being:
Have all fire exits be clear of clutter.
Clean up spills immediately.
Never hold hot pots without oven mitts or a dry towel.
Ways To Sanitize Yourself
Wash hands if touch an unclean surface e.g. cellphone.
Practice safe hygiene.everyday.
Wash your hands when entering and leaving the kitchen.
Don't cross contaminate food with cooking tools.
How I Will Apply Safety And Sanitation In My Life
Regularly clean space.
Practice cleanliness every day.
Will be able to know when food is in the danger zone.
I can tell what the symbols on chemicals are now.
Always make sure all exits are open and available.
