Adjective Categories
Determiners — articles and other limiters
Age — adjectives denoting age
Observation — post determiners and limiter adjectives and adjectives subject to subjective measure
Origin — denominal adjectives
Material — denominal adjectives denoting what something is made
Color — adjectives denoting color
Numbers — adjectives denoting numbers
Size and Shape — adjectives subject to objective measure
Qualifier — final limiter, often regarded as part of the noun
The Adjectives
Words that describe or modify nouns or things in the sentence
Adjectives nearly always appear immediately before the noun or noun phrase that they modify. Sometimes they appear in a string of adjectives, and when they do, they appear in a set order according to category
Adjectives are used in this order:

Adjective Types
Possessive adjective (

our,'' ``their'') is similar or identical to a possessive pronoun; however, it is used as an adjective and modifies a noun or a noun phrase,
Interrogative adjective (

what'') is like an interrogative pronoun, except that it modifies a noun or noun phrase rather than standing on its own
Demonstrative adjectives

those,'' and ``what'' are identical to the demonstrative pronouns, but are used as adjectives to modify nouns or noun phrases.
Adjectives Comparison Degrees
Positive degree names a quality of one person or thing
Superlative adjective is used to describe the object that is at the highest or lowest limit of the group. This usually means -est is added to the end of the adjective
