Climate:
Climate is the average of the weather over a long period of time. This is used for rough estimates of the weather, and gives rough estimates according to the season and area. Climate also depends on the latitude, longitude, ocean currents, tilt of Earth, land formations, distance from Equator, bodies of water, and the plants or animals living in the area that might affect the overall behaviour of the weather. To find the climate, Climatologists collect data over a long period of time, usually around 30 years to get an accurate average. Using this information, changes through the years can show patterns to estimate changes (including droughts, moisture, precipitation, etc).
-At higher latitudes, the climate becomes colder due to the sun’s rays being spread out over a vast area because of the Earth being at an angle. The sun’s rays become weaker hitting more spots , leaving less concentrated points.
