Identify strengths/interests/weaknesses
Assessments like DRA's/ aimswebPlus, anecdotal notes are used
Write up a formal evaluation
Make a referral for further evaluation if needed
Meeting with the parents to inform them of the findings
Evaluation Results
Students requiring Learning Support (LS) services
Formal meeting with the parents and the team
Written consent form obtained from the parents to avail the services
Develop Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
Plan consists of goals, strategies and expectations from the student
Appoint a paraprofessional if deemed necessary
Enable Text To Speech (TTS) feature in their electronic device
Student not requiring Learning Support (LS) services
Continue on with other kids in the class with no / little intervention from LS
