c. I used Thinglink to introduce students to needs, wants and economic resources by presenting students with an image that they can relate to, a home. Students will learn that needs and wants are determined by the resources available in the world. Teaching chapter objectives as a group or individually.

c. I created a template for students to apply the consumer decision making process. This activity will access students understanding of the concept.
c. I have 4 ELL students in my personal finance class so providing my students with current event news articles that adjusts to their reading level and comprehension is important.
a. Online current events data base that allows educators to assign articles, assignments, assessments based on student reading levels.
a. Online cloud-based platform that you can organize content into categories that resemble buttons.
c. I created a template for students to apply the consumer decision making process. This activity will access students understanding of the process and how to use it when making choices in their life.

c. Students will be assigned a real world problem in which they will have to apply the economic decision making process. Then students will have to vote on 3 other real world issues they feel have the best solution. I’m using this tool for students to apply/check their understanding, critique peer work, reflection and class discussion.
a. Online application that can be used to schedule meeting times in an organized and streamline way. You can also, create surveys and zoom using Doodle.
c. I created a survey for students to select the topic they choose to researching and present. At the same time students are also choosing their groups.

c. I created a Padlet to use as a “getting to know you” activity for the first week of school. My goal will be to have students use the Padlet has a bingo board to walk around and meet their classmates based on their responses.
a. Digital white board that allows the user to upload documents, videos and mark-up the content with easy to use tools.
c. Twiddla was used to provide a visual guide for students to complete the worksheet below. I recently, had a student have difficulty with completing the activity, so I decided to mark up the document to assist this student in a way that helps this student learn best.

a. Cloud based application suite with multiple tools, features and uses for increase productivity.
c. Students will be using this live document to add content about their product or service. Then, students will also be viewing this document to participate in market testing research for their classmate’s product/service. The data collected will then be used to improve, change or update their own product/service.
Video + Audio Learning
a. Online podcast creator that allows the user to add music, sounds, edit and publish their podcast.
c. Students will need to articulate using content vocabulary, their understanding of the concepts, communicating in a professional manner, collaborate with peers and the business community.
a. Online application that allows for video, voice and text collaboration.
c. Students will be providing a reflection on the process of their business plan project- What they learned, struggled with and are proud of.
