Mechanical Energy:
All objects have this energy. Its refer to the movement of an object (kinetic energy) and its position (potential energy).
Non-Moving objects:
in high positions have potential energy.
Elastic objects:
can have potential energy, like a elastic band.
Moving objects:
have kinetic energy, and objects with a larger mass have more kinetic energy.

Chemical Energy:
In Fuel
can be converted into mechanical energy, or electrical energy.
Inside a Battery
can be transformed into electrical energy.
In food
is transformed into mechanical and thermal energy.
FUEL
Light Energy:
comes from light sources, like the Sun. Plants use light to do the photosythesis. Light energy can be converted into electrical energy, this takes place in solar panels
Candles
Electrical Energy:
is produced by the movement of charged particles, in power plants. Its essential for many objects. In machines is transformed into other kinds of energy.
An Elevator
Nuclear Energy
: is in some substances, called Nuclear Fuels, like uranium or plutonium. When their atoms are separated these can release huge amounts of energy. That kind of energy is used to produce electrical enegy in Nuclear Power Plants.
Uranium Rock
Thermal Energy:
is related to the temperature of an object.
With higher temperature, more thermal energy.
With the same temperature a larger mass has more thermal energy.
