Sick Leaves

Medical Attention

Voluntary : employee may quit because of resignation due to other job outside or retirement (employees are not entitled to termination benefit)

Retrenchment

Annual Leaves
employee is entitled to paid annual leave
1 to 2 years service are entitled to 8 days/year, 2-5 years service can take 12 days/years, More > 5 years service can take 16 days annual leave/year
Public Holiday
According to the Act, there were 10 public holidays per year like Hari Raya Puasa or Happy New Year
Maternity Leaves
female employee is entitled to maternity leave for a period of not less than 60 DAYS’ maternity leave EVERY TIME they give birth.
Rest Day
at least one rest day per week and the day depend on employer
Sick Leaves
Before take sick leave they must undergo an examination by a registered medical practitioner appointed

Wage Periods

Wage Payment

Advances
advance that can be given is equivalent of one month’s wages
Deduction
not exceed 50% wages unless repayment of a housing loan
