program syndicator, Westwood One. In 1995, Westinghouse Electric Corporation, acquired CBS, renamed itself CBS Corporation. In 1996, ABC was sold again; the Walt Disney Company acquired Capital Cities/ABC for $18.5 billion. CBS was sold again in 1999, this time to conglomerate Viacom
