Something evil this way comes
Babylon was an evil city filled with sin in ancient times. Although there isn’t an actual city called Babylon today many cities contain the same kinds of sins. (paragraph 4-5)
People choose to follow the likeness of the world or their own standards. (paragraph 6)
We must create a Zion in the midst of Babylon. Babylon is everywhere. (paragraph 7-8)
We are subject to our environment. (paragraph 9)
In ancient Israel they ended up worshipping idols because they were surrounded by it. (paragraph 10)
Cultures really determine how we think and act. (paragraph 13-14)
The New York Temple was built so it wouldn’t be able to hear the outside city. (paragraph 17)
Daniel and his brothers refused to drink with King Nebuchadnezzar. They resisted that culture. (paragraph 22-23)
We don’t need to stand by the morals of the world around us. (paragraph 27)
Lack of courage is the root of sin. Stand Up for what you believe. (paragraph 30)
Make no mistake about it, the world contains mostly evil. (paragraph 31)
Let us be courageous enough to stand at the level the Lord expects of us. (paragraph 32)
