The social structure in the story would be; The students, Lacy, Braydon, Professor Kentley. The students and the victim (Lacy) at the bottom, since both parties have no control or any power over the situation. The Professor is at the top since he has the most control/power in this situation, he has the authority to get Braydon expelled. Braydon above Lacy of course, because he empowers her and the students by a lot, hence her not being able to stand up for herself and defend herself when she's getting bullied. But what if Lacy had more authority then Braydon? This could happen if Lacy had a lot of links with teachers, or she had a school leadership role (e.g Student Council, Class Leader, Student Principal...etc.). Those roles would give her more power in her situation, because if Braydon tried to pick on her in that situation, then she'd be more calm as a person and more smarter (Because typically, you need those traits/attributes to actually get those types of roles) and she'd know what to do. She could tell the Professor, a teacher or something bigger. She could spread the word throughout the school, or even through the city/town or her suburb/neighbourhood and get more people wanting it to stop and more people against Braydons acts. Doing this would bring more awareness to bullying in general. If she did that, then she wins in that situation. Braydon would be expelled, or just hated everywhere and be too ashamed to do anything.
