Location, To get there you need to go into a boat, a 25 minute cruise. Rangitoto is connected to Motutupu island so its possible to walk between both islands

Reviews, Its a good place for the views and is a popular spot for walkers. It takes a 30 minute walk, from Wairoa river, to a forest and to a steam.
Location, It is a little out of Auckland but nor quiet far away. It takes about 46 minutes from Auckland.
Close by there is a supermarket you could possible drop in to get a snack or a drink.
